Björnkrönikan — Oscarsteatern, Stockholm

Björnkrönikan is a musical, rhymed text that explains the entire medieval history of Western Europe, with special focus on the Nordic region and what later became Sweden. The title alludes to the medieval work Erikskrönikan. The production sold out at Södra teater in spring 2026 and now moves to Oscarsteatern.

On stage appear, among others, Kristin Fornfela Svensson, Johan Ludvig Rask (drums), Andreas Grönberg (bass) and Fredrik Carlzon (piano/brass/trumpet), plus guest artists and choir.

Björn Ende is a pianist, songwriter and composer who has been compared to Tom Lehrer or Povel Ramel for the 2020s. He won the humor award "Funny Bones" for his solo show "Brev till Ryssland" at Stockholm Fringe 2024. He has also written text and music for Skansen's 1950s pastiche "Tillbaka till tvättiden", which played at Bollnästorget's summer stage at Skansen in summers 2024 and 2025, and has appeared in TV4's "Gilla läget" and in Amazon's comedy production LOL - among others alongside Sussie Eriksson and Robert Gustafsson.
