Emil in Lönneberga
395–495 kr · ≈ $41–52
On Intiman's stage, Astrid Lindgren's stories of Katthult come to life anew. Here audiences meet Emil, Ida, Alfred, Lina and the horse Lukas in a musical based on the books Emil in Lönneberga, New Pranks of Emil in Lönneberga and Emil in Lönneberga Still Lives.
Emil is kind-hearted but constantly gets into mischief - a soup bowl gets stuck on his head, Ida is hoisted up the flagpole and he tries to help Lina pull out her bad tooth. One crazy escapade follows another, and each time it ends the same way: with an angry father and yet another wooden figure in the workshop.
The production is a musical with singing and dancing, featuring music by Georg Riedel. Dramatisation and direction: Kålle Gunnarsson. Production company: Stage Fantasy and 2Entertain. Publisher: Nordiska ApS.
Premiere 19 September. Recommended age: from 5 years depending on the child's theatre experience. Performance length: approximately 2 hours including intermission.
