Avig

Avig is a dance performance for the whole family about fitting in - in your body, your group, and the world. Through humor, precision, and powerful physical presence, the piece captures the feeling of being a little different, and the joy of realizing that maybe it's completely okay. The performance premiered at Dansens Hus in 2024 and received the Swedish Theatre Critics' Award for children and young people. Recommended from age 6. Performance length: 40 minutes.

Behind the performance stands the dance company TUBO & Co., founded by dancing composers Tobias Ulfvebrand and Hugo Therkelson. Together with director Martin Hasselgren, they have created a work with playful sound solutions, striking props, and nods to classical ballet.
