The Secrets of Marriage

Äktenskapets hemligheter arrives in Ängelholm at Jarl Kullescenen on Wednesday, 28 October 2026. Carolina Sandgren presents a double opera about the contradictions of marriage - two rarely performed works that explore love, jealousy, and the truths hidden between two people. This performance is one of six Swedish dates on the tour. Tickets are distributed through Ica Maxi, Norders, Hotell Falköping, and via riksteatern.se/forening/falkoping and falkoping@riksteatern.se. The tragicomic section Om tobakens skadlighet is based on a monologue by Anton Chekhov, while the Italian section explores how secrets can become absurd when revealed.
