Aunts on the Run

Selma searches for her late husband. Elsa longs for her new boyfriend. Despite their differences, they form an unexpected alliance and escape from the nursing home for a day - into an adventure neither could have imagined.

The performance weaves classic fairy tales by H. C. Andersen, Elsa Beskow, and Selma Lagerlöf into the story of two women who refuse to let life grow stale. Behind the work and on stage are Mette Marqvardsen and Debbie Z Rennie, known from earlier productions by Riksteatern Crea. Direction: Lars Otterstedt and Mindy Drapsa.
