Aunts on the Run

Selma searches for her late husband. Elsa longs for her new boyfriend. Despite their differences, they form an unexpected alliance and escape from the nursing home for a day - the start of an adventure neither of them could have imagined.

Aunties on the Run is a humorous and imaginative performance in which classic fairy tales by H. C. Andersen, Elsa Beskow and Selma Lagerlöf are woven into the story. Behind the work and on stage are Mette Marqvardsen and Debbie Z Rennie, known from earlier productions by Riksteatern Crea, directed by Lars Otterstedt and Mindy Drapsa. Makeup and costumes: Anna Olofson and Lars Otterstedt. Voice performer: Kristina Snow.

The performance is in Swedish sign language and interpreted into spoken Swedish. Suitable for children and adults from age 6. Running time: 1 hour.
