Meet the Radio Correspondents 2026

Sweden's Radio correspondents are on the ground when news breaks, and from their network of reporters around the world they deliver not just rapid news coverage but also in-depth analysis and background. Sweden's Radio has the Nordic region's largest correspondent network - 20 correspondents worldwide and around ten staff members in Stockholm.

One of the correspondents' core tasks is to cover events that might otherwise be overlooked by the media. As Anders Pontara, foreign editor at Ekot, puts it: "At a time when journalism and freedom of speech are under attack in more and more countries, it is of the utmost importance to be on the ground."

The performance runs 1 hour 15 minutes, followed by a 30-minute discussion. Which correspondents will participate will be announced in early autumn.
