Meet the Radio Correspondents 2026

Sveriges Radio's correspondents are on the ground when news breaks, and from their network of reporters around the world they deliver not just rapid news coverage but also in-depth analysis and background. Sveriges Radio operates the largest correspondent network in the Nordic region - 20 correspondents worldwide and around ten staff members in Stockholm.

One of the network's core tasks is to cover events that might otherwise be overlooked by the media. As Anders Pontara, foreign editor at Ekot, puts it: "At a time when journalism and freedom of speech are under attack in more and more countries, it is crucial to be on the ground."

The performance runs for 1 hour 15 minutes and is followed by a 30-minute discussion. Details about which correspondents will participate will be announced in early autumn.
