InTension

Rebecca Livaniou brings her debut solo dance work InTension to Storsjöteatern in Östersund on Monday, 5 October 2026. The piece is a physical monologue inspired by hip-hop battle culture, where movement and contradictions create an ambiguous narrative about claiming space. Storsjöteatern, situated on the shore of Lake Storsjön, stands as one of Northern Sweden's major performance venues, hosting a diverse program ranging from drama to musicals. InTension is one of nine Swedish dates on Livaniou's autumn 2026 tour, offering Östersund audiences a chance to encounter a contemporary dance work that explores contradictions and movement without revealing its logic in advance.
