Ah Dorian!

Dorian is an inexperienced, cautious young man - until his best friend paints his portrait and everything changes. The image makes him popular, admired, and desired. Influenced by the cynical and much older Harry, he is drawn into a world of parties, drugs, and crime, recklessly exploiting his looks and youth, where the consequences always seem to fall on someone else.

But something is wrong. Dorian stops aging - no matter what he does, his appearance remains unchanged, perfect. Meanwhile, the portrait begins to change: the face becomes ugly, twisted, grotesque. What should be visible on him seems to gather in the painting.

Ah Dorian! is a free interpretation of Oscar Wilde's classic The Picture of Dorian Gray, written by Malin Axelsson, an award-winning playwright and artistic director of Riksteatern Barn & Unga. The production explores contemporary obsession with youth, status, and appearance in a strikingly visual and harsh theatrical form. Running time: 1 hour 15 minutes.
