Herrelös

Marc is nearing the end of his stay at a rural treatment centre. He has been drawn to the small church on the grounds - a quiet place where, for the first time, he can feel like himself. As he helps prepare Sunday's service, the doors burst open: his two best friends, Dunder and Butterfly, arrive - loud, confused, and determined to take him home.

They try to understand what has happened. Why doesn't he like Yasin anymore? What are those angel tattoos on his arm? And of course he should come with them now that he's doing better - especially since gang leader Satan financed the entire treatment. In the middle of all this stands Marc: torn, pressured, and afraid of what might happen to his friends if he doesn't go back with them.

Herrelös is written by Danish playwright Frederik Timm, inspired by his short film of the same name, and translated by Bikkie Samson. Directed by Farzin Fatih. Creative team: scenography and costumes by Moa Möller, makeup and wigs by Cais-Marie Björnlod, lighting design by Evelina Mattsson, sound design by Lars Bomanson, dramaturgy by Ninna Tersman. Cast: Emir Waldmark, Paulus Roséen and Hanna Carlsson.

The production is a Riksteatern Barn & Unga production and will be performed for adults and young adults in autumn 2026, and for schools in spring 2027. Running time: 1 hour 15 minutes.
