Marc is nearing the end of his time at a rural treatment centre. He has been drawn to the small church on the grounds - a quiet place where, for the first time, he can feel like himself. As he helps prepare Sunday's service, the doors burst open. There stand his two best friends: Dunder and Butterfly. Loud, confused, and determined to take Marc home with them.
They try to understand what has happened. Why doesn't he like Yasin anymore? What are those angel tattoos on his arm? And of course he should come along now that he's doing better - especially since gang leader Satan financed the entire treatment. In the middle of it all stands Marc: torn, pressured, and afraid of what might happen to his friends if he doesn't go back with them.
Herrelös is written by Danish playwright Frederik Timm, inspired by his short film of the same name, and translated by Bikkie Samson. Directed by Farzin Fatih. Cast: Emir Waldmark, Paulus Roséen and Hanna Carlsson. Set design and costumes: Moa Möller. Performance length: 1 hour 15 minutes.
Herrelös is a Riksteatern Barn & Unga production performed for adults and young adults in autumn 2026, and for schools in spring 2027.
