Alice in Vintageland

Alice in Vintageland is a dance and variety show where Lindy Hop, Charleston, Blues and authentic jazz meet the classic fairy tale in a vibrant 1920s New Orleans. The story follows Alice, a young woman drawn into a magical world inspired by 1920s New Orleans, where she encounters the tale's iconic characters in entirely new forms - playful, wild and always in rhythm with the jazz. Along her journey, Alice undertakes not just a journey through time but also an inner journey, where she develops self-confidence and courage.

The story is told through dance, humor and musicality. On stage are Rebecka DecaVita, Charlie DecaVita, LinaMaria Bengtsson, Mattias Bruzelius, Philippa Svensson and Vivien Nivesse - all leading dancers and choreographers in African American vintage dance styles.
