Blåst på julkonfekten

Dan Johansson and Tess Paulsen have worked in theatre, film, and television for over thirty years, often together for the last fifteen. Eventually they founded DanTess Teater, and from a conversation about the hassles of holiday planning came the production Blåst på semestern - about a middle-aged couple whose week in the countryside doesn't go as planned. It toured across the country, from Skåne to Norrbotten, and after its premiere at Gothenburg City Theatre in April 2023, the theatre immediately commissioned a Christmas version.

Blåst på julkonfekten premiered in December 2024. This time Kattis and Matte will spend seven days in a mountain cabin - but they have completely different ideas about what Christmas should look like. Like its predecessor, the production blends scripted everyday comedy with improvisation and is highly interactive.
