Blåst på julkonfekten

Dan Johansson and Tess Paulsen have worked in theatre, film and television for over thirty years - the last fifteen often together, and eventually they founded DanTess Teater. Their production Blåst på semestern, about a middle-aged couple whose week in the countryside goes awry, toured the country from Skåne to Norrbotten. After its premiere at Gothenburg City Theatre in April 2023, the theatre immediately commissioned a Christmas version.

In Blåst på julkonfekten, Kattis and Matte are celebrating Christmas in a mountain cabin - seven days in the snow. The problem is that they have completely different ideas about how the week should unfold and what Christmas should include.

The production is an everyday comedy with elements of improvisation and is highly interactive. It appeals equally to those who rarely go to the theatre and to those who do regularly.
