The Tale of the First Tomte

Winter tomte Triss has been tasked with protecting the world's nature from dangers and evil - just like all other forest tomtes. But one day everything goes wrong: Triss gets angry and accidentally destroys nature, and as punishment he slowly begins to turn to stone. Fortunately, the kind witch Molda appears to help. What will happen to Triss? Why do the forest animals say Molda is wicked? And what actually happens to magic if a witch cannot rhyme?

This is an interactive performance where imagination and audience participation are at the heart. Together with the children, the characters and the story's setting are improvised.
