Saltstänk & Smuggelsprit Tour

On the Halland coast stands "Badhotell Klitterviken" - once grand, now in the late 1920s a hotel that has clearly seen better days. Yet the pompous owner Estrid (Helena Aspeflo) refuses to admit it. She drives her downtrodden husband Hubert (Håkan Klamas) to maintain the appearance of an exclusive seaside hotel, despite what the walls reveal.

Behind Estrid's back, Hubert has made a deal with smuggling kingpin Konrad Stålberg (Daniel Träff) - it is Prohibition, and German schnapps is being smuggled across the Kattegat. A large shipment has been delivered overnight and must be moved on. The problem is that on the same day, Estrid has booked a wake for the wealthy widow Stråhle (Ewa Roos), whose late husband was chairman of Halland's temperance committee - and who has promised to donate a substantial sum to the hotel, provided the wake proceeds quietly and with dignity.

To make matters worse, the couple's daughter Alfrida (Jeanette Capocci) arrives, searching for a suspected unfaithful lover and desperate to hide that she has squandered her parents' money at Gothenburg's jazz clubs and dance halls. Pastor Livhed (Mikael Riesebeck), who is to conduct the memorial service, suffers from narcolepsy. Postman Dag-Otto Flink (Jojje Jönsson) soon has no idea whether he is a postman, smuggler, waiter, or priest. And the hotel's newly arrived guests Rut (Annika Andersson) and Ragnar (Mikael Riesebeck) are unwillingly drawn into the chaos.

With smuggled schnapps, a corpse gone astray, threatening spirits police, and a chest that never seems to contain what it should - the circus soon becomes complete. Vallarnagänget embarks on a major Swedish tour with the roles: Annika Andersson, Mikael Riesebeck, Ewa Roos, Jojje Jönsson, Jeanette Capocci, Håkan Klamas, Daniel Träff and Helena Aspeflo.
