Mojna

Mojna weaves improvisation and contrapuntal voice-leading into an innovative interpretation of Nordic folk music. The trio plays guitar, hardingfele, and bass clarinet, and has won several awards and nominations for its distinctive expression.

Their second album "Väntenätter" was released in summer 2024. It earned composer Thomas Eriksson the award "Composer of the Year" at the Folk and World Music Gala 2025, and Norwegian NRK gave it the rare top rating "Tärningskast 6".
