Kulturnatta 2026

Kulturnatta is a festival by everyone, for everyone - anyone can organize a programme item. Theatres, galleries, studios, cinemas and cultural venues stay open in the evening, with offerings ranging from dance and theatre to themed walks, studio visits and workshops. Most of it is completely free.

The festival has no common start time. Individual programme items begin at different times during the afternoon and evening - many around 17.00 or 18.00, others later, such as 19.00 or 20.30.

Almost all programme items are free, and Gothenburg's city museums offer free admission all evening. Some workshops may charge a small fee for materials, and individual private organizers may choose to charge admission - this will be noted in the official programme at kulturnatta.goteborg.se.

The programme is planned to be released on 18 September. Kulturnatta is organized by the City of Gothenburg in collaboration with the independent cultural scene and has been held in Gothenburg for 30 years.
