Limpan

The novella Limpan was published in 1977 by Allan Edwall. It was later dramatized by Martina Montelius, and now Niklas Ejnar has adapted it for the stage.

The play tells the story of a homeless, unemployed, and intoxicated man who has lost his footing and fallen through the cracks of society. He sits on a park bench and tries to explain - to anyone who happens to listen - why he ended up there and why he doesn't deserve to exist. Yet in the darkness there is also vitality, humor, and love.
