Blåsväder

Blåsväder is a guest production by Anna Holter + Company and Teater Giljotin, arranged by Eskilstuna Municipality - Scener och evenemang with support from the Swedish Arts Council, the Swedish Authors' Association manuscript fund, the Svante Bergström Theatre Foundation, and Eskilstuna Riksteaterförening.

The production explores cancel culture and the questions it raises: who has the right to judge when a case becomes public, and what happens to the accused when the legal system seems insufficient? Is there satisfaction in standing on the right side of the court of public opinion?

Three performers meet on stage - actress Emelie Garbers, dancer Rikard Svensson, and movement-based actor Karu Wallin - in a production directed and choreographed by Anna Holter, with text by Kristian Hallberg and music by Rikard Borggård. Set design and costumes are by Tilda Aspelin, lighting and technical direction by Emil Olsson. Assistant director is Hedvig Jarnryd.
