Saltstänk & Smuggelsprit Tour

On the Halland coast stands a once-grand "Badhotell Klitterviken" - by the late 1920s, a place that has clearly seen better days. Yet the pompous owner Estrid (Helena Aspeflo) has no intention of admitting it. In her world, Klitterviken still gleams, and she drives her neglected husband Hubert (Håkan Klamas) to maintain the facade of an exclusive beach hotel, despite what the walls tell a different story.
It is the era of Prohibition and smuggling, and Hubert has secretly made a deal with smuggling kingpin Konrad Stålberg (Daniel Träff) - a large shipment of German schnapps has been delivered to the hotel overnight and must be moved on. The problem is that on the same day, Estrid has booked a wake for the wealthy widow Stråhle (Ewa Roos), whose late husband was chairman of Halland's temperance committee - and the widow has promised to donate a substantial sum to the hotel, provided everything proceeds calmly and with dignity.
To make matters worse, the couple's daughter Alfrida (Jeanette Capocci) shows up, searching for a suspected unfaithful lover - and careful not to mention that she recently lost her job and spent her parents' money at Gothenburg's jazz clubs and dance halls. Pastor Livhed (Mikael Riesebeck), who is to conduct the memorial service, turns out to have narcolepsy. Postman Dag-Otto Flink (Jojje Jönsson) soon doesn't know if he is a postman, smuggler, waiter, or priest. And the talkative couple Rut (Annika Andersson) and Ragnar (Mikael Riesebeck) are unwillingly drawn into it all.
With smuggled schnapps, a corpse gone astray, threatening spirits police, and a chest that never seems to contain what it should - the circus soon becomes total chaos. Vallarnagänget is on a major Swedish tour with this salty beach farce. Performance length: approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes including intermission. Organizer: 2Entertain AB.
