Liminality - Camilla Engman

Gothenburg-based artist Camilla Engman describes her work as "a portal to step through in order to reclaim passion, creativity, and the ability to direct oneself both inward and outward. To find the strength to transform oneself and the world. But here we still find ourselves in the in-between space - in liminality."

Engman is a visual artist, trained and working in Gothenburg. Her artistic practice revolves around belonging - what it costs, what we are willing to sacrifice to be included, and where the boundary lies between being on the inside and the outside. Both toward others and toward ourselves.
