Automata akrobata
Fri entré!
In Automata akrobata, the hands of craft meet the bodies of circus performers through the power of mechanics. A medieval lathe transforms into a universe of sound, light, and constantly moving mechanical sculptures, where ancient technique merges with modern circus.
The performance explores the interplay between human, nature, and machine. Gears, cranks, and unexpected movements meet acrobatics and humor - and the circus lathe, the performance's mechanical helper, plays a central role. Imagine a circus artist freed from lifting their partner, letting gears do the work instead, or the lathe driving the jump rope while handles are crafted at the same time. Craft blends with flying confetti.
