CLOWNSEJD - a seance, a stream of consciousness, an opportunity for divination

CLOWNSEJD combines clown and mask technique with ancient Norse divination practice - so-called sejd - in a fully improvised encounter with the audience. The performance is built on voluntary interaction with the character the Seer, to whom you can ask questions of both existential and everyday nature.

With CLOWNSEJD, Rebecka Cardoso dissolves the boundary between traditional theatre performance and participant-based experience - in a way that, according to her, has never been done before in Sweden.
