Kajsa's Red Heart

A stage programme in words, music and images about young Kajsa Rothman from Karlstad - a marathon dancer with a celebrated European career who became one of Sweden's most prominent voices against fascism during the Spanish Civil War in 1936. During the war, she worked as a frontline nurse, ambulance driver and journalist, organized fundraising and orphanages, and delivered hundreds of lectures across Sweden about the horrors of war. After Spain, her life and activism continued in Mexico.
