The Murderer's Son is a raw and gripping portrait of Tabaré, a man who through music and boxing attempts to leave crime behind while confronting deeply buried childhood trauma.

From age three, Tabaré became part of the prison world when his father was sentenced to life for a double murder and his mother to a long sentence for complicity. The siblings were separated and Tabaré was placed in foster care.

When his absent father, now working as a therapist, unexpectedly returns, Tabaré is forced to face questions about guilt, responsibility, and the possibility of reconciliation.
