A Heart in These Times

Lisa is nearly seventy and sits in a police interrogation, accused of a serious crime. But she takes command of the conversation - and the more she tells, the more blurred the line between victim and perpetrator becomes.

Ann Petrén and Anna Wallander star in this interrogation drama by John Ajvide Lindqvist, directed by Anna Takanen. The character Lisa originally appeared in Ajvide Lindqvist's play The Unauthorized, which Takanen directed at St. Paul's Church in Stockholm in 2019. Now they both return to her in a new work about loneliness, insecurity, and the unwillingness to take responsibility.
