Doctor Glas

A production based on Hjalmar Söderberg's classic novel about the melancholic doctor Glas and his love for Helga - a woman trapped in a loveless marriage with pastor Gregorius. We follow Glas' increasingly feverish inner dialogue: does one have the right to kill a person to save another?

The production contains horror, anxiety, and passionate love, but also music - Jonas Hellman-Driessen brings conductor Tomas Isacsson on stage. Director Emma Peters describes it as a thriller that explores themes of vanity, longing, love, and solitude.
