World Swim Hat Day 2026 - a global swimming festival

World Swim Hat Day was founded in Stockholm and has since spread to swimming spots around the world. The concept is simple: put something on your head and jump in.

At Marieviksbadet, participants gather at 1 p.m. for warm-up, and at 2 p.m. there is a communal swim - hats mandatory. The kids' pool on the waterfront promenade in Marievik (Liljeholmskajen) is this year's festival location in Stockholm.
