Erik Madigan Heck: Before One Assembles Itself

House of Photography presents Before One Assembles Itself, the first public exhibition in Sweden and the Nordic region by American artist Erik Madigan Heck. Heck describes himself as "a painter who uses photography". Photography is often just the beginning of a process in which he continues working with color in layers, sometimes up to a hundred. The exhibition runs from 26 August to 8 November 2026.
