By combining historical photographs, biographical data, and digital facial recognition, the exhibition brings forth the faces of 19th-century Stockholm. The exhibition is the result of the "Faces of the City" project, funded by the Swedish Research Council.

About the venue: Stockholm City Museum

Stockholm City Museum is housed in a late 17th-century baroque palace near Slussen, originally designed by Nicodemus Tessin the Elder. Its permanent and temporary exhibitions cover Stockholm's history from the Middle Ages to the present day, focusing on urban life, architecture and the everyday lives of the city's residents. The building itself is one of the best-preserved 1600s structures in Stockholm.
