Walking Tour, Western Kungsholmen

A historical walking tour of western Kungsholmen that traces the area's transformation from rural idyll to metropolis.

Along the way we pass sites shaped by military activity, ore mills, hospitals, tobacco plantations, schools, a villa neighbourhood, allotment gardens and industries - including breweries and asphalt and concrete factories - and see how all of this has left its mark on the cityscape that remains visible today.
