Richard Strauss was a master of painting vivid pictures with music. In the Alpine Symphony from 1915, we journey through the Alps - from sunrise and tranquil mountain landscapes to a violent storm and evening calm. The concert also features Grieg's Peer Gynt and Britten's Four Sea Interludes. The orchestra Filialen is conducted by returning favorite conductor Simon Crawford-Phillips.
