Luther Journey to Reformation Sites in Germany 28.10.-1.11.2026

A journey to Martin Luther's significant sites in Germany from 28 October to 1 November 2026. Stefan Lindholm serves as Luther guide and Leif Nordenstorm as trip leader. The journey concludes with Reformation Day in Wittenberg.

The journey costs 8,950 kronor and departs from Lund, Malmö, or Copenhagen. The price includes coach travel in a tourist bus, most entrance fees, hotel accommodation with breakfast, one lunch, and two dinners. Other meals and travel to one of the bus stops between Uppsala and Kastrup are paid by the traveller.

The Fjellstedtska Foundation offers subsidies for the journey to those who have completed or plan to take the course "Lutheran Theology in History and Today" (SD0356 or SD0458), or the course "Brief Introduction to Luther's Theology" SD 0120 (2.5 credits), offered in autumn 2026. For full-time students aged 35 or under aiming for parish ministry, the subsidy can be up to 7,950 kronor - meaning you pay 1,000 kronor yourself (plus travel and meals). Full-time students over 35 with parish ministry goals may also qualify for a subsidy in some cases; contact Leif Nordenstorm to explore options.

Send a pre-registration to leif.nordenstorm@fjellstedtska.se with the following information: name, personal identification number, whether you are a full-time student, your career aim, and which of the above courses you are taking or plan to take. You will then receive a preliminary decision on your subsidy eligibility. If eligible, register on the Exodus Resor website (under the "Luther Journeys" tab), write "Fjellstedtska" in the additional information field, and pay the 1,000 kronor registration fee - Fjellstedtska will pay the remaining 6,990 kronor directly to Exodus Resor. If travelling without a subsidy, register the same way and pay 1,000 kronor at registration plus 7,950 kronor before departure.
