Free Threads

The exhibition "Free Threads" brings together the groups Lintråden (Linköping's local chapter of Täcklebo Broderiakademi) and Gränna brodöser. Together they present free embroidery where the works revolve around encounters - between colours and stitches, brush and needle, literature and embroidery, landscape and details of the earth. The embroidery in the image was created by Elaine Millegård, inspired by John Bauer.

On Saturday 14 November, a workshop is held at the museum from 1.00 pm to 3.30 pm. Materials are provided on site, but bring your own needle and scissors. Participation is free.
