Vimmerby berättar - Literature Festival

Vimmerby berättar is a full-day event at the library featuring author talks, an art exhibition, and activities for children. The festival concludes in the evening with a poetry reading at the city hotel - Poesi i baren.

This year's theme is "Vacation": vacation in literature, travel and destinations, the consequences of mass tourism, and the contrast between leisure and everyday life - including the (sometimes unrealistic) expectations that come with the long-awaited time off.
