Nadin Al Khalidi and Andreas Hourdakis

Nadin Al Khalidi was born in Baghdad and raised in both Baghdad and Cairo. Her Arabic-language texts explore war and love, grief and resistance. Through her band Tarabband, which she founded 17 years ago, she has performed for audiences around the world.

On stage, she meets guitarist Andreas Hourdakis in a dialogue between words and music, where stories shape the concert as much as the melodies.
