Love Me for Who I Am

Clémence (Vicky Krieps) has left her law career and her marriage behind - partly to write, partly to live on her own terms. When her ex-husband discovers she is dating women, he uses legal tactics to gain custody of their son, whom he then turns against her.

The film follows Clémence's struggle to keep both her son and herself intact in a system that judges her morally. Anna Cazenave Cambet wrote the screenplay based on Constance Debré's bestselling novel Love me tender.
