Discover Nature's Colour Palette
Mangelboden is a small neo-Gothic building from around 1840, originally used for washing and ironing the estate's textiles. Today, Elin N Vennerbring (MFA designer) works here with her business Nordic Dyer, where she dyes textile waste with natural pigments and gives materials a new life.
In May, Elin opens the second part of Mangelboden to visitors. On days when she works on site, you can look into the studio and follow how she creates colour pigments for an upcoming exhibition, how a garden of dye plants grows, and how silk garments are transformed - clothes that are later sold in Gunnebos shop.
