Doggerland

Alf is about to turn 40, but still lives at home with his mother Monica in a townhouse area outside Norrköping. Monica nags him about getting a job and his own place - he dreams of his diabolo act. When a European tour suddenly becomes possible, both he and Monica must face how difficult it truly is to let someone go.

The film was shot in Norrköping in grainy black and white on 16 mm and had its world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival 2026 - as the only Swedish title that year. Film curator Véronique Dubois-Côté introduces the screening. Suitable for children.
