Instrumentarium - Johan Tingne, Johan Frick, Karin Lindgren

Instrumentarium is an audiovisual spatial installation and interactive music performance in one. Johan Frick and Johan Tingne create a canvas of shifting sound layers that visitors then shape - the work develops through interaction with Karin Lindgren's spatial installation, which adds further dimensions.

Johan Frick is a musician based in Göteborg. He is involved in Bergtagna Instruments and the experimental music project Rävulen & Musifers Kattanistiska Sälskap, working with experimental and slow sound worlds - often with sounds whose source is not immediately apparent.

Johan Tingne is an instrument maker, musician and artist based in Svensköp, Skåne. He runs Bergtagna Instruments, which produces instruments with atmospheric sound and artistic appearance, and performs together with Johan Frick in Rävulen & Musifers Kattanistiska Sälskap. He has also participated in group and solo exhibitions featuring instruments and spatial installations.

Karin Lindgren is an artist and designer, educated at HDK-Valand in Göteborg. Her practice centres on narrative and ephemeral spaces, taking form through sculpture, installation, light, sound and performance. She often creates surrealist environments as temporary realities, which challenge norms and offer spaces for exploration.
