Clark, the owner of a furniture store, finds a hidden doorway in the basement. He quickly becomes obsessed with exploring the mystery and confides in his psychologist, Doctor Mary Kline. When she follows him down into the basement, she discovers that something dark and sinister is hiding behind the wall.
