About the venue

Adelsö kyrka is a medieval stone church on the island of Adelsö in Lake Mälaren, close to the Viking-age royal estate Hovgården and the UNESCO World Heritage site Birka. The church dates to the 12th century and is one of the oldest in Uppland. It hosts regular services and occasional cultural events.
