About the venue

Bäckaskog Slott is a medieval monastery converted into a castle, set on the shores of Lake Ivösjö in Skåne. Dating back to the 13th century, it served for many years as a royal summer residence for Swedish kings including Karl XV and Oscar II. The castle now operates as a hotel and conference venue, and regularly hosts weddings and cultural events.
