About the venue

Bohus Fästning is a medieval fortress ruin at the confluence of the Göta älv and Nordre älv rivers in Kungälv. Founded in the 14th century, it was one of Scandinavia's most contested strongholds for several hundred years. Today the ruins host open-air concerts and events during summer.
