About the venue

Carlstens fästning is a well-preserved 17th-century fortress on the island of Marstrand, built after the town burned down in 1658. It sits on a rocky hilltop and served for centuries as both a military stronghold and a state prison. Today the fortress hosts concerts, guided tours and open-air events.
