Feskekörka

Gothenburg

About the venue

Feskekörka - literally "the fish church" in Gothenburg dialect - is a covered fish market built in 1874 to a design by Victor von Gegerfelt. Its neo-Gothic facade gives it the look of a church, which inspired the nickname. Inside, fishmongers sell fresh catch daily, and the building is one of Gothenburg's most recognisable landmarks.
