Järntorget is one of the oldest squares in Gamla Stan, sitting at the western end of Söderström. The bronze statue of Evert Taube - Sweden's beloved troubadour - was erected here in 1990 and serves as a well-known meeting point. The square regularly hosts outdoor events and street performances.
