About the venue

Götaplatsen is Gothenburg's main cultural square, laid out for the city's 300th anniversary in 1923. It brings together the Gothenburg Museum of Art, the City Theatre, the Concert Hall and the City Library around Carl Milles's iconic Poseidon statue. The square regularly hosts outdoor events and public celebrations.
